Diageo Global Travel today unveiled the latest addition to The Singleton Reserve Collection: The Singleton of Glen Ord Artisan, a rare testimony to the art of whisky-making and exclusive to travelers in Asia Pacific. The newly released The Singleton of Glen Ord Artisan is an exquisite, ultra-smooth single malt whisky. It is hand-crafted once a year in small batches of individually-numbered bottles as the ultimate expression of the whisky-making craft. The Singleton Reserve Collection has been crafted solely with the aim of creating the best-tasting Malt Whisky in travel retail today. One of Scotland’s leading female Masters of Malts, Maureen Robinson, was given the freedom to create a personal expression of the finest flavors of The Singleton using a combination of traditional whisky-making skills and contemporary thinking. The result was a collection of remarkably smooth and perfectly balanced whiskies. The Singleton of Glen Ord Artisan is the pinnacle of the collection and joins The Singleton of Glen Ord Liberté and The Singleton of Glen Ord Trinité. The Singleton of Glen Ord Artisan is finished in Pedro Ximenez wood casks. Using this rare, modern finishing technique Robinson has created a rich, decadent and incomparably smooth Scotch whisky.
