Laphroaig's whiskies have a reputation for being punchy and full-flavoured. Cask strength bottlings only serve to delicious reinforce that opinion. So, if you fancy something particularly full-on, you can't go wrong with the 2018 bottling of Laphroaig's cask strength 25 year old single malt! It was matured in ex-bourbon casks then bottled at a weighty 52% ABV, and each bottle comes alongside its own presentation cask too.

Nose: Phenols and sea spray, with underlying mature oak warmth.

Palate: Heavy notes of medicinal peat smoke, joined by peppercorn, cut grass, a hint of milky coffee, orange oil cutting through.

Finish: Lasting bonfire embers and a few hints of honeyed barley.
