Martell Cordon Bleu 2019 Limited Edition

Mathilde de l’Ecotais and the House of Martell, an exceptional encounter between art and cognac, based around a shared vision and shared values, to celebrate the festive season. The gifting collection which epitomizes both the values of the House (curiosity, creativity and generosity) and the unique character of the emblematic products, illustrating the Martell style. The terroir is expressed by grapes and leaves from cognac, sublimated by a circular gesture to recall the roundness and delicacy of Cordon Bleu. Mathilde’s point of view: because each Martell cognac is authentic and singular, Mathilde has given her visual interpretation of the aromas and key characters, using her favorite photographic technique: Cyanotype. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple and low-cost process to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints. The process uses two chemicals: ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide.
