在細節設計方面，戊戌狗年茅台酒瓶蓋採用金色紋路形狀，頂部有篆體“狗”字樣，

整體金光閃閃、熠熠生輝。彩盒及瓶身局部元素採用中國國家畫院副院長、專職畫家、

一級美術師紀連彬先生創作的狗年生肖國畫；國家一級美術師，中國國家畫院副院長曾來德先生創作的狗年生肖書法作品。
