- Smell: Very fruity, with ripe oranges, apple pie, jam and plums. Fresh aromas honeysuckle and nougat, almonds, cake, icing sugar. Expressive and exciting.
- Taste: Smooth as a billiard ball, with delicious fresh grain, oak tannins and delicate malt. Some hints of clove peel, pepper and mixed, sherry is ahead. Citrus is here too, though a bit more tart like lemon or grapefruit. The spices, apple peel and the last remnants of grain finely tuned. Nothing dominates everything in place - the integration and balance are quite remarkable. The spices seem to grow in intensity at the end.
