Memories of Karuizawa 1999- 14 years 57%/700ml

The Karuizawa Distillery was established in 1955 in the foothills of Mount Asama – an active volcano. The area is a popular mountain resort and the distillery is the highest in Japan at 850m above sea level. Everything from Karuizawa is really good.

This particular bottle is a vintage from the remaining stock of the legendary closed Karuizawa distillery. It was distilled in 1999 and was aged for at least 14 years before being bottled in 2013.
